More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. A must-have for any dark ambient fan's collection.

You get incredible value out of the originally 2 CD release of this album with 14 tracks filled with noxious and nightmarish ambient, ranging from slower drone pieces to my favourite song which is almost a fever dream, Head Shot. A renowned and respected classic of the genre for a good reason.
